Keynote Presentations and Signature Programs
The ART of Resilience
What and Why: Nearly everyone today is impacted by stress in a significant way. Stress can have a negative impact on health, relationships, and work performance. Many stress programs focus on stress reduction and relaxation; however, this is probably not sufficient considering the world of high demand and constant pressure we are constantly facing. This program focuses on the science of resiliency and offers practical strategies for employees to respond in more positive and productive ways to challenging environments at work and at home. The 6 principles explored in this session will inspire, empower, and enable employees to Adjust, Recover, and Toughen to people and situations and 1. Allow them to leverage stress for positive outcomes, 2. Reduce negative stress responses that sabotage them at work and home, and 3. Become more resilient to thrive in every aspect of their lives. An optional session specific to leaders is available as well.
How: This session uses a combination of presentation with participant discussion, activities, application, and sharing.
Who: This session is best for employees, teams, and groups who work under demand, pressure, and deadlines who are at risk for burnout, turnover, health issues, productivity impacts, or disengagement due to stress or feeling overwhelmed.

The Neuroscience of Wellbeing (can be customized for other topics apart from wellbeing)
What and Why: Most people know what they need to do when it comes to health, wellness, and self-care, but often times struggle to implement what they know, especially in the face of demands, pressure, change, uncertainty, and stress. The reason for this is grounded in neuroscience and understanding how the brain processes inputs and creates responses and behaviors provides a platform for training it in a way that supports wellbeing goals and outcomes. This session provides an overview of the emotional and rational parts of the brain and their influence on stress responses as well as well-being behaviors and choices. Participants will learn to identify triggers that can lead to poor wellbeing choices and practical strategies to manage them more effectively. Strategies in emotional agility, creating a mindset of wellbeing, strengthening neural connections, and in the areas of nutrition, exercise, and sleep are provided. Participants will leave the session with tools and strategies they can immediately implement to support positive stress responses and wellbeing behaviors that lead to desired results. An optional session specific to leaders is available as well.
How: This session uses a combination of presentation with participant discussion, activities, application, and sharing.
Who: This session is best for employees, teams, and groups who work under demand, pressure, and deadlines who are at risk for neglecting their own wellbeing for the sake of work and meeting the needs and expectations of others in their lives.

The Business of You: Leveraging Business Principles to Thrive in Life
What and Why: In many ways, our lives are not much different than a business. In running a successful business for a long period of time, many activities and decisions are carefully considered. One bad decision, the inability to adapt quickly, not resourcing or budgeting strategically losing sight of the big picture, making results the only thing that matters, or not getting the vision right can hurt or ruin a business. The same is true for us in our lives. In the quest to live a healthy and vibrant life, many decisions will need to be made daily. Often, we become overwhelmed with the competing priorities and inundation of information about how to balance our lives or achieve wellbeing. Applying business principles to our lives can help us to strategize and align what we do with what we want. Remember, the business of your life will be the most important business you will ever run!
How: This session uses a combination of presentation with participant discussion, activities, application, and sharing. Business examples will be used to introduce each of the principles and then participants will apply the business principle in their own lives.
Who: This session is best for employees, teams, and groups who understand basic business principles and would find it interesting to approach wellbeing, work/life integration, or resilience through a business lens instead of the traditional approaches.

The Neuroscience of Leadership
What and Why: In today’s fast-paced, demanding world filled with constant change and uncertainty, having effective leaders is especially important in any organization that wants to achieve and maintain success. Even the best experts and those with extensive experience must learn and hone their leadership skills to take their organization to the next level. This session will help anyone with leadership responsibilities better understand what leadership is, why it matters, key qualities of an effective leader, the most effective leadership styles, and differences between experts, managers, and leaders.
Leadership will also be explored using the context of neuroscience to better understand how our own emotions and rational thinking influence our leadership behaviors. Concepts, such as internal self-awareness, external self-awareness, purpose, emotional agility, trust, communication, motivation, teamwork, mindset, resiliency, boundaries, and self-regulation will be covered. Most importantly, participants will have opportunities to engage in activities and discussions that allow them to implement leadership strategies in their everyday roles.
How: This session uses a combination of presentation with participant discussion, activities, application, and sharing. Hands-on activities for in-person programs will be used to solve for actual issues within the organization. Breakout rooms will be used to simulate in-person activities for virtual programs.
Who: This session is best for new leaders, newly formed leadership teams, leaders and leadership teams struggling to perform effectively, and experts or managers now being asked to be leaders.
